Maxim Velčovský (CZE) – The Physical Possibility of Death in the Mind of Someone Living
Event Introduction
The installation is composed of burnt-out cars from the war in Ukraine. The civilian cars are a cruel testimony to a horrific tragedy and direct evidence of 21st century warfare. The burnt wrecks offer an insight into the horrific situation of Ukrainian cities.
The cars on display in the installation are imported directly from war-affected areas and are accompanied by the stories of Ukrainian citizens who lost not only their cars, but often all their possessions and loved ones. The project is being developed, among other things, in cooperation with the Ukrainian Embassy in Prague.
