Mikko Kunnari (FI) – Lip Licking Lizard

Event Introduction

Lip Licking Lizard allows the viewer to experience the TV moment of a lizard living in a parallel reality. Hunger can cause the lizard brain to act in strange ways… 

“With this piece, I wanted to combine things I love: technology, video and digital sculpture with physical form. Sometimes it’s interesting to make smaller and fun works. It’s also good to have a touch of humour, so it’s not always so serious,” says Mikko Kunnari.

Mikko Kunnari is a video, light and visual artist born in Kemijärvi, Finland. Kunnari’s works have been exhibited at Lux Helsinki, Polar Light Night, Reflektor and several pop-up installations.
